Kathleen Duda, Managing Director, has 30 years experience in public relations, sales, marketing and promotion. For five years starting in 1983, Kathleen worked at Shearson/American Express as Vice President. In that time she held professional positions in Marketing, Incentives and Corporate Events divisions of that organization. Her responsibilities included budgeting, planning and production of business meetings and conferences, cultural sponsorships and sporting events worldwide. This required working in conjunction with senior management, the firm’s most important clients, as well as international government and cultural agencies.

 

In 1988 Kathleen established Marketing Solutions providing similar services to corporations and the travel industry. In this capacity she generated publicity, hosted journalist trips, and acted as a consultant to destinations designing programs targeting the American market. She has overseen the design and creation of collateral material including brochures, direct mail and advertising.

In the early 1990’s, Kathleen recognized the need to provide a complete scope of marketing communications strategies to an expanding clientele now faced with new geo-political and economic challenges. Her expertise includes brand strategies for a wide range of product including hospitality, real estate and international destinations.  In the years since the company was established, she has gained expertise in categories that overlap with lifestyle products and services that were part of Kathleen's earlier career experiences. She spent four years at Estee Lauder, where she managed the corporate art collection and assisted Chairman, Ronald S. Lauder, on special projects during the launch and expansion of key product lines.  In that regard, she gained a thorough understanding of high-end retail products in an arena defined by style, aesthetics and cache.  It is this shared sensibility that enables Kathleen to not only work with her clients, but to connect with them in a way that enhances their ability to achieve critical market objectives.

Angela Beaudrie is the Senior Communications Manager at KVD Creative.  She has a keen understanding of what it takes to create and develop messaging that helps define a luxury brand.  She develops multi-layered strategies and solutions to increase exposure for our clients with creative press and social media campaigns that generate the maximum engagement taking into consideration a varied global audience.  Throughout her time at KVD, Angela continues to build strong relationships with media and influencers that help deliver the best results for clients.

Angela joined KVD after working as a manager for an event planning firm in NYC. Along with her degree in Communications and Public Relations from Cortland University in upstate New York, Angela brings 10 years of experience in travel, hospitality, consumer and client relations.  She has experience producing corporate events, meetings and destination weddings.  In that capacity she  worked closely with tourism boards and hotels to produce luxury trade shows in key target markets. 

 

As a native New Yorker, Angela currently lives in Long Island with her husband and little boy Frankie.  She has a love and passion for all things adventure and travel related.
